Jim’s cable career began by doing make-ready survey’s in the 70’s, during the time of mass cable franchising. His industry journey next saw him as a product manager for equipment manufactured by one of the top firms. Seeking P&L responsibility, Jim became an SVP in Sales building up to a $50 Million revenue stream at the predecessor company to Telawire, Midwest CATV. While at Midwest, he became affiliated with dB Communications as a Manufacturer’s Rep. He transitioned to dB Communications in an operational position and subsequently evolved to the ownership role when the opportunity arose for an equity stake.
Taylor’s evolution into a territory/ Account Management role is substantiated by post-graduation work with Merck and then onto Bentley Systems. Her previous work history has afforded her the growth path and foundation of knowing, understanding and servicing customer requirements. Her skill set was seamlessly transitioned into a prominent sales role in handling three major East Coast metropolitan areas. Having Taylor in the dB organization has provided a fresh and energetic look to a key customer base. She’s a true advocate and believer that the foundation of her success is built on nurturing customer relationships and solidifying it with trust. Taylor enjoys her down time by utilizing her creative and artistic skills in baking and decorating cakes along with multiple projects in her home.
Mike has been in cable TV for over 30 years, starting out as an installer and working his way through the ranks to Plant Manager. He has been involved in all facets necessary to build and bring a cable TV system online. He enjoys the challenge of working with engineers to find the newest and best ways to deliver broadband services. Mike has been with dB Communications for over two decades of his career, primarily in product sales and training. He is particularly adept at working with manufacturers and customers to modify standard products for the client’s specific needs. His success is founded on trust developed over time with strong relationships with manufacturers and customers. To balance his time away from work, Mike enjoys outdoor activities.
John is a veteran of the cable industry as well, with over 28 years of product sales and integration expertise. He has experience with the deployment of inside and outside plant. He understands the full breadth of technology necessary to deliver high quality broadband service. John credits the success of dB Communications through the building of relationships based on trust, keeping commitments and keeping abreast of technology developments. When John is not doing hands on work to keep current with what is happening in the industry, he enjoys golf and travel.
